Jeanne Huynh

Jeanne is working at the Therrien lab as a Lab Assistant I after graduating from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Human Biology in 2024. While she was an undergraduate student, Jeanne also worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant and provided care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities. Many of her patients had neurodegenerative diseases, which sparked her interest in learning more about age-related conditions. She hopes to supplement her prior clinical experience with research on the neuroscience of aging in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of aging on health and disease. Jeanne plans to go to medical school in 2026 and is considering the possibility of someday becoming a geriatric physician. Originally from San Jose, Jeanne enjoys reading novels, playing volleyball, and discovering new R&B music.
