While Martine and Anabella were on the East Coast, Elisa and Leo went to the Bay Area Aging meeting to discuss using the xenograft model to identify how human microglia change during aging. Busy week for the lab

Cure AD Fund annual meeting. Anabella and Martine traveled to Boston to meet our collaborators for the Cure AD Funds project because Zoom meetings are fun, but in-person meetings are much better!

May 2025- Stem Cell Training at CNS

​

Our Stem Cell training gathered more than 40 scientists from across campus to learn more about the best practices and differentiation protocols for brain cells. A big thank you to Stem Cell Technologies for sharing all your tips and tricks and being such a great resource.

​We celebrated the end of the fall quarter with a visit at the Underground mini golf in Sacramento. We all got to show our skills at this unusual mini-golf game.

For the first time, Neurofest expanded and traveled to the Museum of Science and Curiosity in Sacramento to share our love for brain research with middle schoolers. In addition to our best neuro-themed activities, Martine presented in the amazing UC Davis Multiverse theatre Stellar Minds: Exploring the Universe Within Our Brains. Thank you to all the volunteers, MOSAC, and SMUD partners.
