Leo is a post-baccalaureate research affiliate at the Therrien Gliomics Lab after graduating from UC Davis with his B.S. in Applied Mathematics in 2024. While an undergraduate student, Leo was interested in numerical methods for both stochastic and deterministic partial differential equations, particularly in the context of low Reynolds number fluid dynamics. His interests are now in utilizing bioinformatics and statistical analysis to uncover new biological insights from data. Currently, he plans on applying to doctoral programs in genetics and genomics for a start date in 2026. In his free time, Leo enjoys skiing, ice skating, and tennis.
