Tian Vuong is a post-baccalaureate research affiliate at the Therrien Gliomics Lab after graduating from UC Davis with his B.S. in Medical and Molecular Microbiology in 2026. During his undergraduate, he was affiliated with the Maximizing Access for Research Careers (MARC) program and participated in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) summer undergraduate research program at UC San Francisco. His former projects in research included the exploration of the relationship between reward seeking and social dominance behavior, as well as developing an antibody-producing yeast cells for a high-throughput assay. His future goals are heavily aligned with further investigating the molecular mechanisms of immune cells impacting the health of the nervous system, and vice versa. In his free time, he enjoys going on hikes and rock climbing
